Lanie Howe, LCPC-C

 Lanie received her master's degree in Clinician Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-C).

During graduate school, Lanie worked at the Kinsey Institute developing and disseminating sex education materials for sexual assault prevention.  Lanie interned at Amethyst House (a substance abuse recovery facility) where she learned advocacy skills, conflict and crisis resolution skills, along with the importance of trauma treatment.

Lanie currently works with clients on a variety of sexuality related topics and issues.  Lanie is a queer-friendly therapist and works with folks from all walks of life.  Lanie works with clients who are in poly systems, queer identifying clients, clients who participate in sex work, clients with a history of sexual trauma, and clients who are looking for marital therapy as well.  Lanie is working with the Ohio Center for Relationship and Sexual Health Sexuality Training Institute to become AASECT certified and to have a greater understanding and appreciation for anything pertaining to gender, sex, and sexuality.
