Heather Webster received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University Of New Hampshire and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College.
Heather has been in the social work field for nine years and she has over five years of experience as a licensed clinician working with children, teens, adults and families. Heather has worked with diverse populations with various presenting challenges, including PTSD, depression, anxiety and LGBTQ populations. Heather has considerable experience working with children and families who have experienced complex trauma.
Heather strives to provide individuals with a safe environment to process and heal from past traumatic experiences with the use of mindfulness and narrative practices. She believes that everyone has individual strengths and the ability to make changes to achieve personal goals. With the right support all people can tap into their innate strengths and live satisfying lives. She works from multiple treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused-CBT, MATCH, Family Systems and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, along with other trauma-focused therapies.
